Education Program 2: Application of AI to Inventory Management: A Case Study in Single Use Systems
Presentation Title: Innovations in Artificial Intelligence drive Inventory Management for the Production of Single Use Products and Assurance of Supply
3:00 PM – 4:00 PM | East Clubhouse, Red Level Suite 20
Our presentation will introduce how artificial intelligence offers a new smart technological approach to reducing the complexity of the single use component library supply chain. We will show how using predictive forecasting based on real time usage, with positive feedback drives anticipative demand. Developing usage models to predict future demand will respond better to stock out situations and replace the inefficient analog methods that are slow and unresponsive. Now more than ever, manufacturing practices need to be flexible and adaptable. Examples will be shared that show how artificial intelligence assures single use product supply by contributing to an increase in productivity and sustainability by decreasing downtime and defects. Additional speakers to be announced!
