ISPE’s Director of Technical Communities welcomes everyone to the first ever CoP sessions at the 2023 Product Show.

Tim Postlethwaite, Director of Technical Communities, ISPE
Dr. Timothy (Tim) Postlethwaite joined ISPE in June 2021 as the Director of Technical Communities. In his role, Dr. Postlethwaite works with ISPE’s more than 350 Volunteer subject matter experts (SMEs) that comprise ISPE’s communities of practice, special interest groups, and technical subcommittees to facilitate knowledge sharing and creation of ISPE’s broad ranging content from blog posts and webinars to gold standard guidance documents. Prior to joining ISPE, Dr. Postlethwaite was the Manager of Technical Services at Catalent, where he led a team of technicians, scientists, and engineers engaged in pharmaceutical manufacturing process development, technical transfer, and production troubleshooting, and technical assessments. Throughout his more than 20-year career, Dr. Postlethwaite has served roles in research and development, product development, project management, program management, and business development. Dr. Postlethwaite holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida USA, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina USA.
